Preliminary Inspection
- Check engine idle speed and idling boost. Check stall speed. Ensure accelerator linkage is free of kinks and does not bind. Check fully open and fully closed positions. Ensure vacuum hose is not disconnected. Check for leaks at ATF cooler recirculation pipe.
- Ensure kickdown switch functions at normal pedal position. Ensure electrical circuits of kickdown solenoid, transfer solenoid and inhibitor switch are functioning properly. Ensure manual linkage adjustment is correct. Check for leaks out of transaxle. Ensure transaxle and differential oil levels are okay.
