Axle Ratio & Identification
All 4WD models use one basic type of rear axle assembly. An identification mark is painted on top front of differential. An identification tag is attached to differential cover. To determine axle ratio, divide number of ring gear teeth by number of pinion teeth. See REAR AXLE IDENTIFICATION .
