Instrument Cluster: Notes

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. For 1995 see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM , for 1996 see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

CAUTION: When installing combination meter, be sure to connect speedometer cable and connectors to backside of combination meter.

WARNING: Air bag system wiring harness, identified by Yellow connectors, is routed near instrument cluster. DO NOT use electrical test equipment on air bag system connectors or harness.
