DTC P0506 (ISC_L) - Idle Control System Rpm Lower Than Expected

  1. Connect SSM. Retrieve DTC(s). If DTC P0505 is present, diagnose this DTC first. If DTC P0505 is not present, go to next step.
  2. Start and allow engine to idle. If there is clogging in by-pass line between by-pass hose and intake duct, repair by-pass line. If clogging is not present, replace idle air control solenoid valve.
