Trouble Codes Cannot Be Accessed

  1. Check resistance between diagnostic terminals "A" and "B" under instrument panel and ground. If resistance is less than one ohm, go to next step. If resistance is one ohm or more, repair diagnostic terminal wiring.
  2. Turn ignition off. Connect diagnostic terminal to ABS diagnostic connector terminal No. 2. Disconnect ABS control unit connector. Check resistance between ABS control unit connecotr terminal No. 13 and ground. If resistance is less than one ohm, go to next step. If resistance is one ohm or more, go to next step. If resistance is one ohm or more, repair wiring.
  3. Check contact at ABS control unit connector. If connector contacts are poor, repair connector. If contacts are okay, replace ABS control unit.
