DTC P0507 (ISC_RHI): Idle Control System Rpm Higher Than Expected

  1. Connect SSM. Retrieve DTC(s). If DTC P0505 exists, diagnose DTC P0505  only. If DTC P0505 does not exist, go to next step.
  2. Start and allow engine to idle. Check intake manifold, idle air control (IAC) solenoid and throttle body for loose installation and gasket for cracks, by-pass hose for loose connection or cracking and vacuum hoses for disconnection or cracking. Repair as necessary. If no damage is noted, replace IAC.
