Low Fuel Warning Light Sensor: Legacy

Remove fuel tank sending unit. At fuel tank sending unit connector, ground terminal No. 5 and connect test light between positive battery terminal and terminal No. 2. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
With sending unit float submerged in gasoline, test light should be off. With sending unit float not submerged, test light should be on. If test light does not respond as specified, replace sending unit.
