Removal And Installation

- Disconnect battery negative terminal.
- Discharge refrigerant using refrigerant recovery system, see DISCHARGE THE SYSTEM .
- Remove low-pressure hose (A):CAUTION: Plug the opening to prevent foreign matter from getting in.
- Remove hose attaching bolts (C).
- Remove the hose assembly from evaporator unit.
- Disconnect the low-pressure hose (A) from the hose assembly (E).
- Remove high-pressure hose (B):CAUTION: Plug the opening to prevent foreign matter from getting in.
- Remove hose attaching bolt (D).
- Remove high-pressure hose (B).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Charge refrigerant. See EVACUATING AND CHARGING .
