(07) BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR REPAIRS

If you get a vehicle in with a repeat blower motor resistor complaint and you have checked the blower motor for excessive draw, we suggest you replace the blower motor at the same time you install a new resistor.

The Technical Support Line has received some calls where vehicles have come back after having the blower motor resistor replaced.

Changing out the blower motor and resistor at the same time has repaired the vast majority of these vehicles.
