Code 22

NOTE: Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . After repairs are complete, check AIR BAG warning light to verify system is functioning correctly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .

If Code 22 exists, disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Replace air bag control module, right and left front sub sensors, driver and passenger-side air bag modules and right and left pretensioners. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Reconnect system components and activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Clear air bag system codes. See CLEARING CODES under DIAGNOSTICS. Check for normal air bag system operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
