- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Perform AIR BAG warning light check. See AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT CHECK . If AIR BAG warning light is functioning properly, retrieve trouble codes. See RETRIEVING CODES . Diagnose and repair appropriate trouble codes. See IDENTIFYING SRS FAULT CODES table. When repair is completed, clear diagnostic codes. See CLEARING CODES .
