Inhibitor Switch: Removal

- Set the vehicle on a lift.
- Move the select lever to "N" range.
- Remove the air cleaner case. (2.5 L model)

- Remove air intake chamber. (3.0 L model)

- Disconnect the inhibitor switch connector.
- Remove the inhibitor switch connector from stay.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove the front and center exhaust pipes.
2.5 L model

3.0 L model

- Remove the snap pin and washer from range select lever.
- Remove the plate assembly from transmission case.
- Remove the bolts.
- Move the range select lever to parking position (left side).
- Remove the inhibitor switch from transmission.
- Disconnect the inhibitor switch harness connector from inhibitor switch.
