- Using hub stand and hub remover, remove hub from rear housing. See Fig 1
.
- Remove back plate from rear housing.
CAUTION:
Use new oil seals.
- Using a standard screwdriver, remove outer and inner oil seals.
- Using flat bladed screwdriver, remove snap ring. See Fig 2
.
CAUTION:
DO NOT remove bearing unless damaged. DO NOT re-use bearing after removal.
- Using housing stand and bearing remover, remove bearing by pressing inner race. See Fig 3
.
- Remove tone wheel bolts and remove tone wheel from hub.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to hammer hub bolts. This may deform hub.
- Using hub stand, press hub bolts out. See Fig 4
.
