Section 166 (Engine Cooling System (H4SO)): Radiator: Installation

- Attach radiator mounting cushions to holes on the vehicle.
- Install radiator while fitting radiator pins to cushions.NOTE: Fit pins on lower side of radiator into cushions on body side.
- Install radiator brackets and tighten bolts.
- Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft-lb)
- Tightening torque:
- Attach power steering hose to the radiator.
- Connect radiator inlet hose.
- Install reservoir tank.
- Tightening torque:
4.9 N.m (0.50 kgf-m, 3.6 ft-lb)
- Tightening torque:
- Install air intake duct.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Connect ATF cooler hoses. (AT vehicles only)
- Connect connectors to radiator main fan motor (A) and sub fan motor (B).
- Connect radiator outlet hose.
- Install under cover.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect battery ground cable.
- Fill coolant. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT .
- Check ATF level. Refer to INSPECTION .
