Air Bag Control Module

Air bag control module contains a microcomputer which monitors electrical system components and connections. Electric sensor (G force) and safety sensor are built into control module. Control module performs a system self-check every time ignition is turned on. Control module also energizes AIR BAG warning light during initial system self-check and whenever a fault is detected. The control module has self-diagnostic capabilities. Stored fault codes are displayed as flash codes by AIR BAG warning light.
