Center Differential Carrier: Assembly

  1. Install thrust washer to intermediate shaft.
  2. Install thrust bearing to intermediate shaft.
  3. Install pinion gear and washer.
  4. Insert the shaft into center differential assembly.
  5. Install snap ring.
  6. Press-fit a new ball bearing into center differential assembly using a press.

  7. Apply petrolatum to outer surface of seal ring and shaft groove.
  8. Attach new seal rings.
