Tripped Sensor Identification

If the horn sounds 4 times and the parking lights flash 4 times when you disarm the system, this indicates that the alarm was triggered. The number of times the indicator light flashes indicates what sensor caused the alarm condition.

A

1. Open driver's door and leave it open.
2. Turn ignition switch to the ON position twice: (LOCK, ON, LOCK, ON, LOCK).
3. The indicator light will start flashing.

A Decoding indicator light signals: 

1. Flash 1 time  - Any door or the rear gate has been opened.
2. Flash 3 times  - The impact sensor in the system's unit has been activated. This may indicate that your vehicle has been shocked or tampered with by some outside force and/or unauthorized person.
3. Flash 4 times  - The ignition switch has been turned on or the battery has been disconnected.

Exiting identification mode: 

1. Close the door and turn ignition switch to the ON position.
