Section 104 (HVAC): Compressor: Removal

Perform the compressor oil return operation. Refer to OPERATION , Compressor Oil.
Turn the A/C switch OFF and stop the engine.
Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Refer to OPERATION , Refrigerant Recovery Procedure.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Remove the V-belt. Refer to REMOVAL , V-belt.
Remove the generator. Refer to REMOVAL , Generator.
Remove the low-pressure hose and high-pressure hose.

Disconnect the compressor harness from body harness.
Loosen the bolts to remove compressor bracket.

Remove the bolts and then separate compressor and bracket.
