Check Battery Disconnect Protection

- Remove key from ignition switch.
- Close all doors and rear gate or trunk lid.
- Open front hood.
- Press LOCK/ARM button of the transmitter.
- Disconnect ground cable from the battery.
- Reconnect the cable to the battery.
- Check that the security indicator light blinks after reconnecting the battery cable. If no good, replace the security control module.
