- Release the fuel pressure. < +Ref. to

- Open the fuel filler flap lid, and remove the fuel filler cap.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

- Remove the air intake chamber and air cleaner case. < Ref. to REMOVAL

- Remove the power steering pump and tank from the brackets.
- Remove the front side V-belt. < Ref. to REMOVAL

- Remove the bolts which hold the power steering pipes onto the intake manifold protector.

- Remove the bolts which install the power steering pump to the bracket.

- Disconnect the power steering pump switch connector (A).

- Remove the reservoir tank from the bracket by pulling it upwards.

- Place the power steering pump and tank on the right side wheel apron.

- Remove the spark plug cords from spark plugs (#1 and #3 cylinders).
- Remove the fuel pipe protector RH.

- Disconnect the connector (A) from fuel injector.
- Remove the harness band (B) which holds engine harness to injector pipe.

- Remove the bolts which hold fuel injector pipe onto intake manifold.

- Remove the fuel injector while lifting up the fuel injector pipe.
