Check Battery Disconnect Protection

- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Close all the doors, rear gate and trunk lid.
- Open the front hood.
- Press the LOCK/ARM button of the transmitter.
- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
- Reconnect the cable to the battery.
- Check that the security indicator light blinks after reconnecting the battery cable.
If NG, replace the security control module.
