Section 27 (Clutch System): Flywheel: Inspection

NOTE: The illustration shown in Fig 1 is for Turbo model. However, perform the same procedure for Non-turbo model.

CAUTION: Since this bearing is grease-sealed and non-lubrication type, do not wash it with gasoline or any solvent.

Damage on sliding surface of facing and ring gear:
If defective, replace the flywheel.

Smoothness of rotation
Rotate the ball bearing while applying pressure in thrust direction.
If noise or excessive play is noted, replace the flywheel.
