Inhibitor Switch: Removal

Set the vehicle on a lift.
Set the select lever to "N" range.
Remove the air intake chamber.
< Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Intake Chamber. >
Disconnect the inhibitor switch connector.

Remove the inhibitor switch connector from stay.
Lift-up the vehicle.
Remove the front and center exhaust pipe. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Front Exhaust Pipe. >
Remove the snap pin and washers from range select lever.

Remove the plate assembly from transmission case.

Remove the three bolts which secure inhibitor switch.

Shift the range select lever to parking position (left side).

Remove the inhibitor switch from transmission.

Disconnect the inhibitor switch harness connector from inhibitor switch.
