Inhibitor Switch: Removal

Set the vehicle on a lift.
Move the select lever to "N".
Remove the air intake chamber (non-turbo model).

Remove the inter cooler (Turbo model).
<Ref. to REMOVAL Intercooler. >
Disconnect the inhibitor switch connector.

Remove the inhibitor switch connector from the stay.
Lift-up the vehicle.
Remove the front and center exhaust pipes. (Non-turbo model)

(Turbo model)

Remove the snap pin and washer from the range select lever.

Remove the plate assembly from the transmission case.

Remove the bolt.

Move the range select lever to the parking position (left side).

Remove the inhibitor switch assembly from the transmission.

Disconnect the inhibitor switch harness connector from the inhibitor switch.
