Check Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

1 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION STATUS. Connect the Subaru Select Monitor and then turn the ignition switch and Subaru Select Monitor to ON. Read the DTC of the body integrated unit. <Ref. to OPERATION , Subaru Select Monitor . >	Is DTC being displayed?	Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. <Ref. to LIST , List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) . >	Go to step 2 .
2 CHECK ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR. Check the engine coolant temperature sensor. <Ref. to BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE for H4SO engine. > <Ref. to BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE for H4DOTC engine. >	Is the engine coolant temperature sensor OK?	Replace the meter case assembly.	Replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
