Oil Cooler: Installation

Tighten the oil cooler connector and install the oil cooler to oil pan upper.
Tightening torque:

T: 54 N.m (5.5 kgf-m, 39.8 ft-lb)

NOTE: Use new O-rings.

Install the oil filter. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Engine Oil Filter . >
Install the water hose to the oil cooler and bolts which secure the engine oil cooler water pipe to the chain cover.
Tightening torque:

6.4 N.m (0.65 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Lower the vehicle.
Refill the engine oil. < Ref. to REPLACEMENT , Engine Oil . >
Fill engine coolant. < Ref. to FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant . >
Check the engine oil level. < Ref. to INSPECTION , Engine Oil . >
