Rear Hub Unit Bearing: Inspection

While moving the rear tire up and down by hand, check if there is no free play in the bearing, and make sure the wheel rotates smoothly.

Inspect the play in axial direction using a dial gauge. Replace the hub bearing if the play exceeds the limit.
Service limit: Maximum: 0.05 mm (0.0020 in)
