Oil Pump Assembly (FA20): Disassembly

  1. Oil filter SUB-ASSY removal (Refer to REPLACEMENT  )
  2. Oil filter union removal (Refer to REPLACEMENT  )
  3. Engine oil pressure switch ASSY removal
    1. Remove the engine oil pressure switch ASSY.

  4. Engine oil temperature sensor removal
    1. Remove the engine oil temperature sensor.

  5. Camshaft position sensor removal (bank 1 intake side)
    1. Remove the bolt, and remove the camshaft position sensor.
    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft position sensor.

  6. Camshaft position sensor removal (bank 1 exhaust side)
    1. Remove the bolt, and remove the camshaft position sensor.
    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft position sensor.

  7. Camshaft position sensor removal (bank 2 intake side)
    1. Remove the bolt, and remove the camshaft position sensor.
    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft position sensor.

  8. Camshaft position sensor removal (bank 2 exhaust side)
    1. Remove the bolt, and remove the camshaft position sensor.
    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft position sensor.

  9. Removal of camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 1 intake side)
    1. Remove the two bolts and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 1 intake side).

    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY.

  10. Removal of camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 1 exhaust side)
    1. Remove the two bolts and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 1 exhaust side).

    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY.

  11. Removal of camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 2 intake side)
    1. Remove the two bolts and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 2 intake side).

    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY.

  12. Removal of camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 2 exhaust side)
    1. Remove the two bolts and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY (bank 2 exhaust side).

    2. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve ASSY.
