Body Integrated Unit: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove the driver's side instrument panel lower cover. < Refer to REMOVAL , Instrument Panel Lower Cover. >
  3. Remove the bolts, and remove the knee guard panel.
  4. Disconnect the harness connector of body integrated unit.
    CAUTION: Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from body integrated unit.
  5. Remove the mounting bolt for the body integrated unit bracket, and remove the body integrated unit.
