Curtain Airbag Module: Removal

CAUTION: Refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" before handling the airbag module. < Refer to CAUTION , General Description. >

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work.
Remove the upper inner trim. < Refer to REMOVAL , Upper Inner Trim. >
Remove the rear quarter trim. < Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Quarter Trim. >
Remove the roof trim. < Refer to REMOVAL , Roof Trim. >
Disconnect the curtain airbag module connector.

Remove the inflator pad.

Remove the bolt, and remove the curtain airbag module.
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to damage the curtain airbag module during removal.
- Never open the curtain airbag module before activation. Never reuse the deployed curtain airbag module.
