Rear Brake Pad: Removal

- Release the parking brake.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, go to the brake maintenance mode according to the display screen.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents.>
- Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the rear wheels.
- Remove the pad - disc brake rear.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the pad clip and the brake hose bracket.
- Remove the cap and the caliper bolt, and remove the caliper body assembly.
- Remove the pad - disc brake rear.
Preparation tool:
Hexagon wrench: 7 mm (0.28 in)
