Front Hood Lock Assembly: Removal

  1. Open the front hood.
  2. Remove the air intake duct. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Intake Duct. >
  3. Remove the bumper face - front. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Front Bumper. >
  4. Remove the bracket - grille.

  5. Remove the radiator upper brackets.

  6. Remove the lock assembly - front hood.
    1. Remove the nuts and clips, and push the radiator to the rear to pull out the lock assembly - front hood through the clearance.

    2. Disconnect the release cable, and detach the lock assembly - front hood.
