Combination Meter: Removal

CAUTION:
When the combination meter is replaced, perform the variant work. < Ref. to
VARIANT WORK , OPERATION, Combination Meter System. >
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
- Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
- Remove the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Instrument Panel Lower Cover. >
- Remove the visor assembly - lower.
- Release the clips and claws.
- Disconnect the connector and remove the visor assembly - lower.CAUTION:
- Being careful not to damage the visor assembly - lower, slowly remove the clips and claws one by one from the right and left edges of visor assembly - lower.
- When using a clip remover, wrap it with protective tape or cloth.
- Remove the combination meter assembly.CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the combination meter assembly, lens or instrument panel.
- Release the claws and remove the cover - column (a).
- Remove the screws and clips.
- Pull the combination meter assembly toward you and disconnect the connector.
- Remove the combination meter assembly as shown in the figure.
