Fuel Pump Control Unit: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
  2. Remove the trunk trim panel assembly - side on the RH side. (Sedan model) < Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Quarter Trim. >
  3. Remove the right side rear quarter trim. (OUTBACK model) < Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Quarter Trim. >
  4. Remove the fuel pump control unit.

  5. Disconnect the connector from fuel pump control unit.
