Inspection steps

- Check ABS or VDC warning light.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- After the initial operation of combination meter is completed, check if ABS or VDC warning light continues to illuminate.
Criteria: Warning light is OFF.
NO: Check VSC system. (For procedures, refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT )
YES: Go to Next Step
- Check CAN communication system.
- Check CAN communication system. (Refer to
HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT
)
Criteria: No fault is found.
NO: Repair according to the CAN communication system.
YES: Replace the ECM.
