1 CHECK DTC. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Perform the clear memory operation of ECM. < Ref. to CLEAR MEMORY MODE . > < Ref. to CLEAR MEMORY MODE . > Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Register the ID code box. Read the DTC again. < Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > < Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Is DTC B1577 displayed?	Replace the ID code box. < Ref. to ID CODE BOX . >	Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
