Starting System & Charging System (WRX): Generator: Removal

Remove the collector cover. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Collector Cover. >
Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note. >
Remove the brake booster vacuum pump. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Brake Vacuum Pump. >
Remove the V-belts. < Ref. to V-BELT , REMOVAL, V-belt. >
Remove the collector cover bracket.

Disconnect the connector (A) and terminal (B) from the generator.

Remove the generator from the generator bracket.

Remove the V-belt tensioner. < Ref. to V-BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY , REMOVAL, V-belt. >
Remove the generator bracket from the engine.
