Starting System & Charging System: Starter: Installation

Install the starter and cable stay.
NOTE: For the MT model, a bolt is used in the lower side of the starter.

Tightening torque:

50 N.m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)
Connect the connector, terminal B and ground terminal.
Tightening torque:

Terminal B

11 N.m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.1 ft-lb)

Ground terminal

14 N.m (1.4 kgf-m, 10.3 ft-lb)
Install the front wheel LH. Ref. to WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM>Tire and Wheel>INSTALLATION .
Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Boot>INSTALLATION .
Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
