Rear Gate Glass: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to BATTERY
  2. Remove the roof spoiler. Ref. to REMOVAL , Roof Spoiler.
  3. Remove the trim panel - rear gate and the motor assembly - rear wiper. Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Wiper Motor.
  4. Disconnect the rear defogger connector.
  5. Remove the touch sensor LWR. (Model with power rear gate) Ref. to TOUCH SENSOR LWR , REMOVAL, Power Rear Gate Touch Sensor.
  6. Remove the glass - rear gate in the same procedure as for the glass - front window. Ref. to REMOVAL , Windshield Glass.
