Starting System & Charging System (H4DO): Starter: Installation

Install the starter to the transmission, and install the bolts or nuts securing the starter.
NOTE:
- For the MT model, a bolt is used at (a).
- Tighten the starter and cable stay (b) together using the upper bolt securing the starter.
Tightening torque:

T1: 14 N.m (1.4 kgf-m, 10.3 ft-lb)

T2: 50 N.m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)

Install the terminal (B) to the starter, and connect the connector (A).
Tightening torque:

10 N.m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.4 ft-lb)

Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Boot.
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to BATTERY
