Anti-Theft System - Security And Locks: Receiver: Removal

CAUTION:

• The airbag system is fitted with the airbag power supply. After disconnecting the battery ground cable, the airbag may operate if you do not wait for 60 seconds before starting the service of airbag system  .
• Airbag system satellite safing sensor is located in the lower of the rear seat cushion center. Before removing the rear seat, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM" section. <Ref. to  CAUTION  , General Description.> 

NOTE: Except for models without keyless access with push button start.

1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note.>
   NOTE: For model with battery sensor, disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor.
2. Remove the trim panel assembly - rear shelf. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Shelf Trim.>
3. Remove the receiver assembly.
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Remove the bolt and remove the receiver assembly.

NOTE: For models with power amplifier, installation position of the receiver assembly is different.
