WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Subaru WRX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
- For detailed operation procedures, refer to "COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)". Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>FREEZE FRAME DATA
- For details on freeze frame data, refer to the list. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS)>FREEZE FRAME DATA>LIST
- FFD is not cleared even if the battery is removed. (It is saved in the non-volatile memory of the microcomputer and read when cold start is performed.)
- Up to 86 freeze frame data are recorded. (The number of data to be saved varies depending on vehicle information (DUAL/SINGLE, variable/fixed COMP, with/without Auto Start Stop, with/without humidity sensor, with/without seat heater).)
- Freeze frame data is stored for 2 DTCs. Freeze frame data for the third DTC is not recorded.
- When recording the first DTC
Three sheets of time series FFD and one sheet of FFD at failure detection are recorded.
- When recording the second DTC
One sheet of FFD at failure detection is recorded.
- When recording the first DTC
- As DTC B14A1 becomes a current code when not exposed to sunlight even if there is no failure, the history code and FFD are not saved.
