User Customizing: Operation

  1. On «Start» display, select «Diagnosis».
  2. On «Vehicle selection» display, input the target vehicle information and select «Confirmed».
  3. On «Main Menu» display, select «Each System».
  4. On «Select System» display, select «Body Control» and then select «Enter».
  5. On «Select Function» display, select «Customize».
    NOTE:
    • If not equipped (depending on destination area or vehicle equipment condition), customizing is not possible.
    • For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Application help".

    Lane Change Signal Setting ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: One-touch blinker function operates.
    OFF: One-touch blinker function does not operate.
    Rear wiper auto setting OFF: (U0, U4, U5 models)
    ON: (C0, C5 models)    		 ON
    OFF    		 ON: Rear wiper operates in sync with the reverse shift.

    Driver's Door Unlock Setting Selection Selection
    ALL    		 Selection: When the touch sensor (unlock) on the driver's side is touched, only the driver's door is unlocked. When the touch sensor (unlock) on the passenger's side is touched, all doors are unlocked.
    ALL: When the touch sensor (unlock) on the driver's side is touched, all doors are unlocked. When the touch sensor (unlock) on the passenger's side is touched, all doors are unlocked.
    Rear Gate Unlock Setting Selection Selection
    ALL    		 Selection: When the rear gate opener button is pressed, only the rear gate is unlocked.
    ALL: When the rear gate opener button is pressed, all doors are unlocked.
    Wiper Link Auto Light Setup ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: Wiper interlock auto light function is activated.
    OFF: Wiper interlock auto light function is deactivated.
    Vehicle Automatic Door Lock Vehicle speed OFF

    Vehicle speed


    Select Lever P    		 OFF: Automatic door lock function is not activated.

    Vehicle speed: Door lock function is activated at a vehicle speed of 20 km/h (12 MPH) or above.


    Select Lever P: Door lock function is activated when the select lever is shifted from P to other than P.
    Vehicle Automatic Door Unlock Driver Door Open OFF

    Driver Door Open    		 OFF: Automatic door unlock function is not activated.

    Select Lever P: Door unlock function is activated when the select lever is shifted from other than P to P.

    Driver Door Open: Door unlock function is activated when the driver's door switch is operated from Close to Open.

    Security Alarm Setup ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: Warning function (hazard, horn) is activated.
    OFF: Warning function (hazard, horn) is deactivated.
    Impact Sensor Setup ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: Impact sensor is activated.
    OFF: Impact sensor is deactivated. (Set to "OFF" in models without the impact sensor.)
    Alarm delay setup ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: The alarm monitor starts 30 seconds after the keyless lock operation.
    OFF: The alarm monitor starts immediately after the keyless lock operation.
    Lockout prevention ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: Key lockout prevention function is activated. (The function does not operate if safety knob is locked by hand.)
    OFF: Key lockout prevention function is deactivated.
    Impact sensor OFF ON
    OFF    		 ON: Vehicle is controlled in impact sensor equipped mode. (Make sure to set to "OFF" for models without the impact sensor. When "ON", hazard, horn or siren become activated by keyless lock (alarm monitor start).)
    OFF: Vehicle is controlled in no impact sensor mode.
    Buzzer sounding setting ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: Buzzer sounds when lock/unlock is selected by keyless entry system.
    OFF: Buzzer does not sound when lock/unlock is selected by keyless entry system.
    Abnormal warning lamp flashing setting ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: Hazard blinks when lock/unlock is selected by keyless entry system.
    OFF: Hazard does not blink when lock/unlock is selected by keyless entry system.

    Door open warning ON ON
    OFF    		 ON: If a door stays half shut for 20 minutes, interior lighting linked with the door such as room light, map light, luggage room light, trunk room light and key ring illumination go off to prevent battery run-out.
    OFF: Room light, map light, luggage room light, trunk room light, key ring illumination and door warning light remain lit.
    Dome Light Alarm Setting OFF ON
    OFF    		 ON: Room light illumination is interlocked with the alarm.

    (1) Customization item according to the actual vehicle equipment
  6. When the setting is complete, see «Data monitor» to make sure that the alterations are consistent with the actual equipment on the vehicle.
CAUTION:
  • the above settings must match the actual vehicle equipment.
  • Do not change settings except for setting above while setting the functions.
  • Be sure not to change the factory initial setting except when installing a new body integrated unit.
