Multi-Function Display Switch

  1. Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

    • Normal type
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard
      13 - 16 INFO OFF 3 MΩ or more
      ON Less than 30 Ω
    • High grade type
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard
      13 - 15 Δ(UP) i/SET ↓(DOWN) All OFF Δ (UP) 3 MΩ or more
      Δ (UP) ON Less than 10 Ω
      i/SET ON Less than 470 Ω
      ↓(DOWN) ON Less than 1, 200 Ω
  2. Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.
    Terminal No. Inspection conditions Specification
    11 (+) - 4 (-) Apply battery voltage. Light ON
  3. Replace the switch assembly hazard if it is found defective.
