Engine Intake System (Induction) And Turbocharger: Intercooler: Installation
- Replace the intake duct No. 2 gasket with a new part.
- Install the intercooler stay LH to the intake manifold assembly.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Install the bolt which secures the vacuum pipe assembly stay to the intercooler stay LH.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Using a new gasket, set the intercooler and the intake duct No. 3 as a unit.
- Connect the intercooler duct No. 2 and the intake duct No. 3.NOTE: It is possible to install with the spring locked.
- Install the intercooler stay RH to the intake manifold assembly.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Install the bolts securing the intercooler to the intercooler stay RH and the intercooler stay LH.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Install the bolt which secures the throttle body stay and intercooler.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
