Rear Lock Button: Removal

NOTE: The rear lock button is integrated with the switch - opener rear gate.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the button - opener rear gate. Refer to SECURITY AND LOCKS>REAR GATE OPENER BUTTON>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the switch - request (lock).
    CAUTION: When using a flat tip screwdriver, apply protective tape or cloth and be careful not to cause damage.
    1. Remove the screws, and then remove the garnish switch bracket.

    2. Remove the switch - request (lock) by pressing the lock portions on both sides.
