Hill Hold Switch: Inspection
- Measure the resistance between connector terminals.
Preparation tool:
Circuit tester
- Measure the resistance between hill hold switch terminals.
Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard 6 - 8 Switch OFF 1 MΩ or more Switch ON Less than 1 Ω - Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.
Terminal No. Inspection conditions Specification 1 (+) - 4 (-) Apply battery voltage. Light ON - Measure the resistance between hill hold switch terminals.
- Replace the hill hold switch if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
