CVTF Cooler (With Warmer Function): Installation

  1. Install the water hose (inlet).
    1. Install the water hose (inlet) to the thermostat cover.
    2. Install the EGR cooler. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>EGR COOLER>INSTALLATION .
  2. Install the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature).
    1. Install a new CVTF inlet hose (A) and a new CVTF outlet hose (B).

    2. Install the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature).

      Tightening torque: 

      23 N.m (2.3 kgf-m, 17.0 ft-lb)

    3. Connect the water hose (inlet) (A) and water hose (outlet) (B).

    4. Connect the CVTF inlet hose and CVTF outlet hose.

  3. Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  5. Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT .
  6. Check the CVTF level. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>CVTF>INSPECTION .
