External Connection Terminal: Removal: Rear

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the cover assembly - front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the duct - console rear. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Ref. to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>HEATER DUCT>REMOVAL>CONSOLE DUCT .
  4. Remove the grille assembly - rear heater. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Ref. to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>REAR GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
    NOTE: For models without rear seat air conditioning, remove the end cover - console box.
  5. Remove the unit assembly - AUX.
    1. Disconnect connectors.
    2. While pressing the claw, press it in from the rear to remove the unit assembly - AUX.

      NOTE: If it is difficult to remove, remove the connector clip to remove the end cover - console box.
