Headlight Assembly: Inspection

  1. Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check the lighting condition of the light.
    • Halogen headlight

      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Specification
      6 (+) - 2 (-) Apply battery voltage. Headlight low beam illuminates.
      5 (+) - 1 (-) Headlight high beam illuminates.
      7 (+) - 3 (-) Clearance/side marker light illuminates.
      4 (+) - 3 (-) Daytime running light illuminates.
      8 (+) - 3 (-) Turn signal light on
    • LED headlight

    Terminal No. Inspection conditions Specification
    1 (+) - 4 (-) Apply battery voltage. Headlight low beam illuminates.
    1, 2 (+) - 4 (-) Headlight high beam illuminates.
    11 (+) - 16 (-) Clearance/side marker light illuminates.
    12 (+) - 16 (-) Daytime running light illuminates.
    10 (+) - 16 (-) Turn signal light on
  2. Replace the harness and bulb if it is found defective.
NOTE: When the LED (Light Emitting Diode) burns out, replace the light assembly - head.
